Love the OH1!

Using the OH1 along with the Polar Beat app has really helped me focus my training where it needs to be. I highly recommend the OH1!

Very pleased with my OH1 sensor.

I highly recommend the OH1 sensor, especially for large busted women who may muffle the signal from a chest strap sensor. It may also transmit over a greater distance. It has never dropped a signal to my Polar V800, which I mount on the front deck of my kayak. It's so small and I have to take care not to lose it.

DOA That’s Right

Out of the box NFG. Told to call Polar to check it out. After all conversation still NFG. Polar told me to send back for return. I asked if Polar would pay for shipping? No they said no. I said really? Brand new out of box & it does not work and you want me to pay shipping? So went back to HRM and returned for another OH1. Hopefully this one will work.

Excellent Heart Rate Monitor

I got the OH-1 to replace a greater than 3 year old H7 chest monitor. I love the OH1 because of its features: able to place this on the arm instead of the chest as in the case of the H7 which is such a bother; one needs to keep the H7 portion of the sensor that touches the skin moist and if not done, there is poor signal transmission and inaccurate HR measurement - the OH1 uses optics to sense the heart rate presumbly from capillary blood ebb and flow and compared with independent HR measurements is quite accurate; the H7 requires a replaceable Li button battery which is an inconvenience and an added cost - the OH1 has a rechargeable battery that has a long charge life - I don't care if it doesn't last more than 7 hours as I recharge after each workout, the longest being 4-1/2 hr; and lastly, the OH1 unit with its armband is smaller and easier to pack if needed.
